In France, beside the Mediterranean, in Montpellier, an association decided to help players who are addicted to games. The association wants to help them by organising tournament where they will be able to manage them and also where the players will receive a psychological help and some advices. A doctor from this association explained to us that on internet it is much easier to play. For example, if you organise a poker tournament of 400 players, it will take you 10 hours, the entire day but if you play online it will take just an hour and probably with more players. The fact is, on internet it is very fast and easy to play online poker, “I have played just an hour, I can play another one”. And because you are at home you don’t feel like you need to leave your computer to come back home. Also you are playing with virtual money on Internet even if you play real one.
